Bullish divergence in $GBPUSD on daily chart
MACD is showing classic bullish divergence as levels indicate $gbpusd is oversold. This type of divergence indicates underlying strength, and warning of a possible short to intermediate term change in trend from down to up. Adding to shorts now is not recommended until we have a return to normal trading conditions after the New Year holiday. Only then will we have a clearer sense of direction from here.
